9th July 2024 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: A lot of rain :( Max Speed: Distance Covered: 3.68 miles (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Tuesday 9th July - walk ** – Around Felixstowe – rain nearly all day:(. I had hoped to go windsurfing today but the light rain started early and lasted all day plus the wind didn’t play ball either so we stayed at home, I did my exercises and read my book while Mag made some yummy lavender biscuits. Then after lunch we set off up the town so I could pick up my new sunglasses for windsurfing before visiting an old friend for a cuppa. On leaving her front door would not close due to a broken lock which we had to change at Underwoods who replaced it free of charge, we were impressed by their service:) Then with the rain gone we had a walk down to the pier and along the prom surprisly walking 3.68 miles, tomorrow is looking promising for a windsurf with only showers forecast!
